PROGRAMS FOR
SCHOOLS, CULTURAL, CIVIC, HUMANITARIAN & RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS

  I. MAJOR PUBLIC LIBRARY

   •  $35,000

   •  Serves community and local schools and institutions

   •  Standard Library of Vietnam Project design including handicapped access

   •  Fully furnished

   •  2,000 - 2,500 books initial stock

   •  Computers

   •  Fully functioning library from the date of dedication

  II. SMALL DREAMS

   •  $5,000 - $15,000

   •  Serves individual schools, small villages and rural areas including students and public

   •  Custom design:

     Rehab of existing structure or

     New structure with co funding from local authorities

   •  Basic stock of books

   •  Electronic library and multimedia

   •  Other items based on proposals of local authorities

  III . ADOPT-A-LIBRARY

   •  $500 - $3,000

   •  Continuing support for current library of Vietnam project facilities

   •  Building and grounds improvement (example: Air conditioning, security fences, landscaping)

   •  More books

   •  Electronic media

   •  Librarian training and support

   •  Expanded hours funding

   •  Health and Landmine education and safety programs

  IV. TLC GIFT

   •  $50 - ???

   •  Individual donations such as televisions/ VCR / VCD , music equipment, black boards

   •  “Shopping list” gifts

  V. TRAVEL

   •  Visit Library to make in-person gifts

   •  Carry Library membership credential

   •  Travel independently or with Library group

   •  LOVNP recommended vendors
